About this Web Site

The USATF-NE web pages moved to a web-host in June 1999. Our web pages are served from an Apache Web Server, running on Linux machines, hosted by TheWebHost.net. To learn what is powering the USATF-NE website, click here.

Our pages are written using a variety of editors on various computer platforms. This webmaster's favorite editor, on the Macintosh is BBEdit, from Bare Bones Software. On the PC, I have been using TextPad, from Helios Software Solutions. Along with TextPad, I have used CSE HTML Validator, by AI Internet Solutions. I had been using Microsoft's FrontPage Express in order to cleanup and align the code in tables. I stopped using that MS product when I discovered the freeware product, HTML Tidy. I was able to add Tidy as a tool in Text Pad to clean up the HTML.
