2004 USATF MUT National Championships Announced

In 2004 ultra, trail, and mountain runners have the broadest opportunity to run USATF national championship and selection races in the history of the Mountain/Ultra/Trail Running Council (MUT) championship program. To offer this expansive slate of races, the USATF Mountain/ Ultra/Trail Running Council selected 8 different venues for championships at the USATF National Convention.

In selecting national MUT championships, the MUT Council balances the quality of the event with the championship race experience it provides. In response to the request for bids for US national championships, MUT received 11 bids from race directors across the country.
