ENTRY PROCEDURE
  • Complete the entry form and send with fee to the address listed below.
  • The first 400 open division runners and the first 200 youths will receive a Mayor’s Cup t-shirt.
ENTRY FEES
  • Youth $3 (youth: born 1985 or after); same fee for pre-event registration and race day.
  • Open $10, if received by October 19; $12 on day of event.
  • USATF clubs with seven or more entries receive $2 off each pre-event entry.
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

Winners of youth, open and 40-over divisions will receive a silver Revere bowl.

  • Youth Medals for 2nd and 3rd place. Ribbons for all other participants.
  • Masters Top three finishers in the 40-49, 50-59 and 60-over age groups
  • Open Prize money will be awarded to the first four finishers (male and female).
  • USATF members only.
    $200 • $150 • $100 • $50.
    $100 bonus for meet record (winner only).

TEAM AWARDS

USATF clubs are eligible for the "Squires Cup", men’s and women’s divisions. The top five individuals from a club score by place.

USATF EAST REGION CHAMPIONSHIP

The meet also serves as the USATF-East Region Championship, and the top five finishers from each association in the Region (Maine to Virginia) score. USATF Associations Championship plaques are presented to the top two Association teams.

COURSE

Races start and finish at Playstead Field near White Stadium. Franklin Park is located five miles southwest of downtown Boston. Playstead Field is at the back entrance to the Zoo.

The Franklin Park course is 99% grass/dirt with excellent footing, a mix of field and road with flat, rolling and hilly sections. Three loops for the 5k, four loops for the 8k event. An excellent spectator course.

Directions to Franklin Park:

From Boston:

US Route 1 South to Route 203. Follow Route 203 for one mile to rotary, go 3/4 miles and follow signs to Franklin Park. The course is 3/4 miles on the left.

From North:

Route 93 South to Exit 15 (Columbia Road). Follow 3 miles to Franklin Park.

From South:

Route 93 North to Exit 11B (Route203, Granite Avenue), bear right, follow Route 203 for 4 miles to rotary. Follow signs to Park/Zoo. Or, take US 1 North to Route 203.

From West:

Mass. Turnpike to end, to Route 93 South to Exit 15; then follow directions from the north.

Subway:

Orange Line to Forest Hills, then walk one mile.
