Charley Robbins, a pharmacist's mate, second class, in the navy and yesterday representing
the Norfolk Young Men's Association, had a lead of about 30 yeards in the 31st annual
N.E.A.A.A.U. 10,000 meter cross-country run at Franklin Park.  He covereed the course
in a blinding snow storm in 33 minutes and 42 seconds, 14 seconds better than
Tony Madeiros of North Medford.
