HOTELS

The headquarters hotel this year is the Westin Copley Place (1-800-WESTIN-1), 10 Huntington Avenue, Boston - $116 for single or double, and and additional $10 per person per night for triple and quad occupancy This is a "Four Star" rated hotel, and is conveniently located in the Back Bay section of Boston. It is one block from Amtrak and the subway connection to the airport. Given this excellent rate, there are no arrangements with other hotels.

Call 1-800-WESTIN-1. To get the special rates, reservations must be made by March 11, 2004. You MUST identify yourself as being with the National Masters Championships at the time of making your reservation to get this rate.

The hotel sold out last year, and the special rates will not be available after the March 11 deadline.


Transportation

TRANSPORTATION

AIR
Boston's Logan Airport serves all major airlines. The most convenient way to get from the airport to the Westin Copley Place is to take the subway. Take a shuttle bus at any terminal to the subway station. Take the subway ($1.00) Blue Line in toward Boston, 4 stops to Government Center. Go upstairs to the Green Line and take an outbound car four stops to Copley Square. The Westin is two blocks from there.

TRAIN - Amtrak
For those coming in from along the east coast, this may be a more convenient method of travel. Amtrak's Back Bay Station is located across the street from Copley Place. Check for special travel deals announced for this winter.

Transit from Hotel to Track
The most convenient way to get to the track from the hotel is to take the subway - the "T". The Back Bay subway station is one block from the Westin Hotel. The is Reggie Lewis Track Facility is across the street from the Roxbury Crossing T stop, and it is three stops from Back Bay to Roxbury Crossing. The fair is $1.00 each way and trains run every few minutes.

Shuttle bus service on Friday, March 26, between the Westin Copley Place and the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center will begin at 1:30 p.m. from the Westin, with a final return from the RLTAC at approximately 7:30 p.m. Note that there will be no shuttle for the pentathlon starts. Shuttle schedule on Saturday and Sunday will begin at 7:30 a.m. The bus will leave outside the main entrance to the hotel at 10 Huntington Ave.

Airport Shuttle - Sunday
Airport Shuttle from the Reggie Lewis Track to Boston's Logan Airport will be available on Sunday only. The shuttle service will run hourly from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, and reservations may be made at number pick-up beginning Friday March 26.
