Marriott - Host Hotel is FullThe host hotel is full at this time.   We first recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites, 811 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston  617 445 6400. There is a room block at $129/night.  No shuttle is planned.
 For those driving, you may prefer to stay at the Newton Marriott, at the intersection of I-90 and 95; it is about 20 minutes away. The cost is $99, and there is no parking charge.  No shuttle from the Newton hotel.
 The office can assist you with other recommendations.
 
PRE MEET SOCIAL / DINNERThe traditional pre-meet gathering for the 2006 USATF Masters Indoor
Championships will be held on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM at Bertuccis Brick Oven Restaurant (39-45 Stanhope Street, phone (617) 247-6161) .
The restaurant is within walking distance from the meet hotel (Marriott
Copely).  Take Stuart Street to Clarendon Street.
      The dinner menu includes Insalata or Caesar salad, speciality pizzas
and pasta, plus unlimited soda, tea, coffee and rolls.  The cost is $20.00
per person payable at the restaurant.
 BOSTON PREPS FOR INDOOR NATIONALS The Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center, which has produced
              over 200 masters World and US indoor records in the eight previous editions of the USA Masters Championships held here, is expected to see a continuation of alterations of the record
              book in 2006 as it welcomes an expected 800 competitors. The
              meet will be hosted and managed by the New England Association of
              USATF, reprising their role in the 1998, 2000, and 2002-2004 Indoor
              Nationals. The 2006 meet presents the eleventh time that the Championships are
              held in New England, the first time being in 1975 (Tufts University,
              Medford MA) with approximately 100 participants. In 1981, about
              200 competitors met at M.I.T. in Cambridge MA. Meet management in
              1997, 1999, and 2001 was by TRACS, Inc. In 1998, the fourth year
              of competition in Boston and first organized by the New England
              Association of USA Track & Field, the meet had a record 817
