The headquarters hotel this year is the DoubleTree Guest Suites - Boston(1-617-783-0090), 400 Soldiers Field Road (along the Charles River), Boston 02134. The rate is $154 for single or double, and and additional $10 per person per night for triple and quad occupancy. This is a "Four Star" rated hotel, and is about 4 miles form the track. There is no direct public transportation. Given this excellent rate for Boston, there are no arrangements with other hotels.

Please be sure to go to the correct DoubleTree, as there is more than one in the city. Call 1-617-783-0090. To get the special rates, reservations must be made by March 4, 2008, or until our block is filled.
You MUST identify yourself as being with the National Masters Championships at the time of making your reservation to get this rate. The meet code is Code UTF, and is posted under USA Track & Field Masters.

Our hotel sold out last year, but then rooms were turned back in; please note that the meet has a responsibility for a certain room block. Late cancellations can affect obligations negatively.

AIR
Boston's Logan Airport serves all major airlines. The most convenient and least expensive way to get from the airport to the DoubleTree Guest Suites - Boston is to first take the subway from the airport and then a cab from in town. Take a shuttle bus at any terminal to the subway station. Take the subway ($2.00) Blue Line in toward Boston, 4 stops to Government Center. Go upstairs to Government Center and take a cab from there.
Alternatively, if arriving while the meet is still in progress on Friday or Saturday, atheltes can go to the track and take the shuttle bus from the track to the hotel

TRAIN - Amtrak
For those coming in from along the east coast, this may be a more convenient method of travel. Amtrak's Back Bay Station is just over a mile from the Reggie Lewis Center.

Transit from Hotel to Track

Shuttle bus service on Friday, March 28, between the DoubleTree Guest Suites - Boston and the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center will begin at 1:30 p.m. from the DoubleTree, with a final return from the RLTAC at approximately 7:30 p.m. Note that there will be no shuttle for the pentathlon starts. Shuttle schedule on Saturday will begin at 7:30 a.m. and on Sunday will begin at 8:00 a.m. The bus will leave outside the main entrance to the hotel.

Airport Shuttle - Sunday
Airport Shuttle from the Reggie Lewis Track to Boston's Logan Airport will be available on Sunday only. The shuttle service will run hourly from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. only. The cost is $12 per person, and reservations may be made at number pick-up beginning Friday, March 28.
