BOSTON PREPS FOR INDOOR NATIONALS
The Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center, which
has produced over 200 masters World and US indoor
records in the eight previous editions of the USA
Masters Championships held here, is expected to see a
continuation of alterations of the record book in
2008 as it welcomes another 800 competitors. The meet
will be hosted and managed by the New England
Association of USATF, reprising their role in the
1998, 2000, 2002-2004, and 2006-2007 Indoor
Nationals.
The 2008 meet presents the thirteenth time that
the Championships are held in New England, the first
time being in 1975 (Tufts University, Medford MA)
with approximately 100 participants. In 1981, about
200 competitors met at M.I.T. in Cambridge MA. Meet
management in 1997, 1999, and 2001 was by TRACS, Inc.
In 1998, the fourth year of competition in Boston and
first organized by the New England Association of USA
Track & Field, the meet had a record 817

MEET HOTEL
The for the 2008 USATF Masters is the
DoubleTree Guest Suites - Boston, 400 Soldiers
Field Rd (along the Charles River). Please be sure to
go to the correct DoubleTree, as there are more than
on in the city. This a different hotel than past
years, and is about 3 miles from the track.

The traditional pre-meet gathering for the 2008
USATF Masters Indoor Championships will be held at
the Sports Depot Thursday, March 27th at 7:00 PM.
This is about a mile from the DoubleTree hotel.
The dinner cost will be payable at the restaurant. Requests for
